Have you ever saved a password in OS X and then couldn’t remember what the saved password is? Well I do it on a daily basis, therefore the following tip is a great way to view your saved password entry.
On your hard drive in /Applications/Utilities we have an Application named Keychain Access
This is where our stored passwords can be managed. Simply select the item that you want to view the password for and double click to select it.
Click on Show Password and then type in your Keychain Password (which should be the same as your login password) and then magically, your saved password will appear!!
