I have had a few people ask me how to force an iMessage to be sent as text message, so I thought I’d write a post to show you how:
If you send a message and find that you don’t get the delivered flag under it, this could be because the recipient doesn’t have any network connection, as an alternative you can double tap the message and force it to be sent as a text message.
This will only work if the iMessage fails to be delivered otherwise, if you hold down you will only get the option to copy the message.
