One thing that always irritated me with 10.7 and earlier was the laborious task of renaming a document you are currently working on.
This would involve having to save the current document, close the document down, find the document in the File system and change the name of the file in the Finder, and then re-open the document back up again! Long huh?
Well, Mountain Lion is here to the rescue!
Now all you need to do is simply click the name of the document in the Document Header, you’ll see a disclosure triangle appear, and choose ‘Rename’ from a list of drop-down options. How easy is that?
