Apple are offering a free 1 year subscription to the new streaming service Apple TV+ for all users that purchase a new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac after September 10, 2019. The offer is limited so make sure you claim before it expires.
What is Apple TV Plus?
Apple TV+ is a subscription streaming service dedicated to Apple’s original content. The service was released in November 2019 with sixteen titles in the current line up, you can find full details here https://www.apple.com/uk/apple-tv-plus/. You won’t find these shows and movies anywhere else so take advantage of the opportunity to see what Apple has to offer before it expires.

Are you eligible?
The offer must be claimed within 3 months of setting up your new device. The offer is time limited and could be withdrawn at any time so claim whilst you have the chance. It cannot be combined with any other offer. The offer is limited to one redemption per Family but can be shared with up to 5 other Family members.
How to claim
- Update your device to the newest operating system. Either the latest version of iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, or macOS, depending on your device.
- Sign in to your Apple ID on the new device and make sure that you have at least one payment method verified, or you won’t be able to accept the free subscription.
- Install the Apple TV app on your device. When you launch the app, you should see the offer for 1 year free. Click to accept.
What to do if the offer isn’t showing
- Check the above steps, it’s easy to miss an update and the offer will only work on the latest versions of the OS.

What happens after the free year ends?
On claiming the offer you agree to sign up for the monthly subscription once the free term ends. Unlike other subscriptions you will lose access to Apple TV+ if you cancel during the free year and it cannot be reactivated. If you don’t wish to continue with the subscription, set a reminder. The subscription must be cancelled at least one day before the renewal date.
