In 10.8 the Displays menubar item was replaced with an AirPlay one, and I’ve missed the original one especially when we are presenting during our training courses.
So, currently the only way to get around it seems to be going into “system preferences” every time I want to change the display settings, or is it?
While trying to find a solution I came across a free app called, “Display Menu” by Milch im Gemüsefach!
Once installed, you then can launch it from the LaunchPad or the Applications folder, and a menubar very similar to the late Apple one will show up.
