While not as dramatic as the new Retina Macbook Pro, Apple has also updated the 13” and 15” Macbook Pro’s and the 11” and 13” Macbook Air.
Macbook Pro
With new CPU’s and GPU’s, the Macbook Pro has had its performance increased but by the far the most welcome addition is the inclusion of USB 3.0 with data transfer speeds of up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0
While updating these, Apple has also discontinued the 17” Macbook Pro.
Macbook Air
Really as above. Faster CPU’s and GPU’s and again the inclusion of USB 3.0 as well as the Thunderbolt ports we previously had.
Now with the Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet adapter, you can get full Gigabit ethernet on a Macbook Air for the first time (adapter sells for £25.00 and requires 10.7.4 or later)
